This effort again uses the BVM Tin Chicken chassis and eight doors from the BVM Mighty Midget.

This is a freelance version and not a close replica of the actual bus. I wanted to achieve the 'look and feel' of the bus without spending on brass if such a thing is even available. The wheelbase, curved spoke brit wheels, lack of front quarter thin panel window etc. are all wrong or off. However I believe at first glance you would say, "hey a SR railbus" and that is what I am pleased with. A true SR rivet counter would not like this but that is ok too.

My story is after seeing the railbuses on the SR my shop foreman came home and decided to build a similar beast for the BC&W. Lots of fun these railbuses and trucks. Hope you enjoy and give one a try yourself.
