This whole thing started life as a bachman ON30 tanker. I saw a picture of an elevated oil tank and "the ON30 guy" sent me a set of pictures of an article by Chuck Doan, (thank you).

I built the thing and had a lot of fun doing it. I found various HO and O scale items laying around and was able to adapt them for use in building this. I have no idea what the spout is supposed to be from, but I made it work, and the same for the counter weight..... I just used the adapt and overcome philosophy. The rubber hoses are thin plastic covered wire.

On the top of the trestle bents I used RGH Hobbies resin casting blocks that they sell on ebay for dressing up your bachman tanker.....they have neat nut bolt and washers cast right in .
