There was a thread running on 1/48th military vehicles for use as conversions or as is. I think this project has something of interest for everyone.

The little tractor is based on equipment made by the Clevland tractor co. The little crawler tractors were marketed under the name Cletrac. My information came from issue 30 of Timber Times.I built mine to represent one which would have been used in the oilfield for pipe laying duties.

The tan parts came from the kit,stryene,aluninum tube, odds and ends make up the rest. I have included box art of the Tamiya kit which I used.You get everthing you see on the box art in this kit, alot of goodies for 15.00. now to paint.
