Streetcar/Caboose Conversion

A couple of weeks ago I was fortunate enough to receive a resin kit from Mr. Thomas Yorke. It seems that the versitality of these little street car bodies is enormous.
The kit contains enough parts to construct a cupola, platforms, endbeams and bolsters. They're beautifully cast in resin. It was super simple to cut them from their supporting matrix. Just a razor blade and a hobby knife were all I needed to quickly prep them for assembly.
After washing them to clean off any mold release I primed them and ACC'd them to the modified Street car body. The parts fit perfectly to the ends of the car. The cupola required no modification whatsoever. The radii of the end pieces fit the roof perfectly.
I've yet to affix the bolsters to the car but they to fit precisely under the car and are ready to be drilled and tapped. It's waiting on a set of passenger car steps from Grandt Line that are currently on order.
The kit really simplified the process of converting a street car to a truly unique caboose. I can't wait for the steps to arrive so that I can finish the conversion!
